Spontaneous St. George Trip

Friday night Tyler and I decided we needed a trip, a little get a way to relieve some stress, spend some time together and enjoy riding some road bikes. So we packed, loaded up the car... stopped by a reception... and were on the road in an hour and a half.
I have no pictures to share but it was MUCH NEEDED... and here is what we found and HIGHLY suggest you to check out if staying there or passing by.

Bear Paw Cafe. This place is a breakfast SENSATION. they serve breakfast, and have some of the most delicious waffles and stuffed french toast!
I enjoyed a stuffed french toast with vanilla brulee cream... mouth watering. They also have fantastic fruit smoothies.

Nielsen's Frozen Custard. I've never been a fan of frozen custard, it just does not sound appealing but man, I would choose this over any ice cream ANY DAY. It was outstanding! they only serve vanilla and chocolate but they both are delicious.

Got some fun Road biking in :)

Grocery Shopping...

There is one thing in this world that I wish I could do without, that is GROCERY SHOPPING.

I hate grocery shopping for 2 reasons.
FIRST... Despite getting everything on my list AND THEN some I spend a butt load a money and find really that I didn't buy anything!  unfortunately, this is reoccurring issue and somehow can't seem to conquer it! yikes.
SECOND... AM shoppers. Brave women who bring their millions of children to the grocery store in the hours of 9-11. Never have I seen so much kicking, screaming, "mommy get me this", whinny minions publicly throwing fits (with the exception of Disney Land princess stores). I do not hate children but DAD-GUM I am not ready to have one. I about ran over 4 of them within 2 isles! Then the thought occurred to me... as much as I make fun of those children leashes--maybe they aren't so bad after all.

and just when I think I learn from the last grocery trip, there I am again... at that stupid grocery cart full of who knows what, running over little children.. I need a horn or something. Heck maybe a horn will end up in my cart next week.

Note to self: Do not go to gym if on Midol. BAD NEWS.

One last final tomorrow... I can see the light!! my brain is fried like an egg thrown on a Las Vegas road in the middle of summer. But it's almost over, YAY!  Then I am going to play my life away until knee surgery next week!

No Consolation Prizes

I'm in love with the band PHOENIX.
I blame my brother for getting me just slightly addicted. I would sell anything I had to go to one of their concerts (okay not LITERALLY) but it is my number 2 bucket list check off right behind riding elephants in Thailand.
They fit every mood I am ever in, and always pull through for me.
These tunes are mostly what's getting me through finals studying!

Besides endless episodes of New girl, blank stares with my anatomy pictures and delicious frosted mini wheat cereal... I think I'm making pretty good progress with my endless studying :)

Dear future Gingerbread house,
You may not ever get made this Christmas season because my belly delights in your sweetness.
